Visual Identity for Community College

Rebrand project for an LA-based community college: The new mark is friendly, modern and keeps the college’s signature colors: green + gold. The overlapping letters speak to LAVC’s collaborative spirit that results in a true sense of community.

This project also included a new athletics mascot and crown icon. The lion head is strong and competitive with bold shading. The crown icon can stand alone and has a “V” and “M” in the negative space to represent Valley Monarchs.
